SSI Benefit Increase for 2019

For 2019, the Social Security Administration announced a 2.8% increase in the maximum SSI monthly payment. This increase is due to an increase in cost of living. The new maximum SSI amount for 2019 is $771 per individual and $1157 per eligible couple.
