Perry M. Sartain

Senior Partner

Perry Sartain joined Sartain Law Offices in 1985 as Senior Partner. Perry obtained a B.A. from the University of Georgia, and he is a graduate of the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University.  


Admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1985, Perry specialized his practice in Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation law and social Security Disability law. Initially, Perry specialized in Workers' Compensation litigation, representing insurers and self-insurers before the Georgia State Board of Workers' Compensation and state courts throughout Georgia. Shifting his focus to injured workers, Perry has over 25 years of experience representing employees who have been injured on the job. 


An expert law practitioner in Workers’ Compensation, Perry has participated in numerous Workers’ Compensation seminars for the State Board of Workers’ Compensation, ICLE (the Institute for Continuing Legal Education in Georgia) self-insured employers, insurance clients and medical practices. 

 

Perry is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Gainesville-Northeastern Bar Association, the Workers' Compensation Section of the State Bar of Georgia, and a former member of the Workers’ Compensation Chairman’s Advisory Council on the Rehabilitation committee and the Legislative committee. Perry is the Vice-President of GIWA (Georgia Injured Workers’ Advocates) an organization dedicated to the representation and advocacy of injured workers in the state. Perry is a former Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia for Workers’ Compensation (SAAG), and he holds an AV rating with Martindale-Hubbel. His court admissions include the Northern and Middle Georgia United States District Courts, Georgia Court of Appeals, and Georgia Supreme Court. 


Perry is married to Stephanie Sartain, and they have three children. Dedicated to family, Perry and Stephanie are actively engaged in their children’s activities. Perry has served as coach and assistant coach for Hall County Recreational League soccer and baseball, and he has served as Assistant Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop 16 through Gainesville First United Methodist Church. Perry served as legal advisor of the Mount Vernon Elementary Charter School Board for a two year term as well as counsel for the Hall County Civil Service Board.
