Jennifer Jarvis, a Gainesville native and graduate of Gainesville High School, joined Sartain Law Offices as an associate in 2013 and has been a partner with the firm starting in 2019. Dedicated and committed to high quality advocacy, Ms. Jarvis focuses her practice on Workers' Compensation, Social Security Disability, Short Term/Long Term Disability, Personal Injury, and appellate practice in those areas.
Prior to joining Sartain Law Offices, Ms. Jarvis obtained a B.S. from the University of Georgia and an M.S. from Auburn University. After teaching upper level biology and chemistry for ten years, she attended Georgia State University College of Law. During her time there, she served as an articles editor for Law Review and competed nationally on Moot Court, graduating summa cum laude.
Ms. Jarvis is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, Georgia Injured Workers’ Advocates, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives. She serves as the President of the Georgia Legal Foundation and on the Workers' Compensation Chairman's Advisory Counsel. She has also given professional presentations in areas related to workers’ compensation and social security disability. Her court admissions include the Northern and Middle Georgia United States District Courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and Georgia Supreme Court.
Ms. Jarvis is also an active participant and volunteer in the local equestrian community. She and her family enjoy spending time on their farm in north Georgia.
